Community Humanitarian Outreach
In 2024, the Foundation conducted a humanitarian outreach programme in Masaka, Nasarawa State, during which food items were distributed to vulnerable households. This intervention provided much-needed relief and support to families experiencing economic hardship and food insecurity.

The Challenge
Many households within the target community faced economic hardship and limited access to basic necessities. Rising living costs and social vulnerabilities increased the risk of food insecurity among low-income families and other vulnerable groups.

Health Outreach for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)
In 2025, the Foundation partnered with Karu Local Government Council and Kauna Clinic to organise a health outreach programme for an internally displaced persons (IDP) community in Gurku. Following a comprehensive needs assessment, medications and medical support were provided to individuals affected by malaria, typhoid, diarrhoea, and other health-related

Renewable Energy Support Initiative
As part of its commitment to sustainable development and clean energy solutions, The Maiwada Foundation donated solar home systems to ECWA Seminary, Karu. This initiative improved access to reliable and renewable energy within the institution, contributing to a more conducive and sustainable learning environment.
